"Falling Around" #4 (of 8)
I made this collection, as well as its unreleased sister Masterwork; using recycled hard paper, tempera paint, phosphorus and acrylic paint. It's UV active... The rest of the collection has already found homes with 4 other collectors.
This is the last one I have. The price of each piece rises with each consecutive sale.
If you don't know what Tempera paint is, it is a medium older than oils or acrylic. Traditionally using egg or other animal products as a binding agent. Tempera paints holds their pigment better over time.. Tempera is what they used to bind pigments to when painting sarcophagi and hieroglyphs in ancient Egypt. And these paints still hold color 10s of thousands of years later.
It's sealed in a semi-gloss acrylic and framed.
